What PTAC Offers Who Makes a Good PTAC Client PTAC Events Calendar Apply as a Client

Are you using the right portal? 

The US Small Business Administration (SBA) has created a new portal to support their government contracting programs.  The certify.sba.gov portal allows you to create a login, enter certification applications and manage your SBA program information.   What’s on the portal right now?  Currently the Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) program and the new Mentor-Protégée program are on the certify portal.  The 8a Business Development Program, HUBzone Program and other SBA information programs continue to be on the General Login System (GLS).   The migration of those programs is general schedule for 2017 - the 8(a) Business Development Program (Winter 2017), HUBZone Program (Spring 2017) and Dynamic Small Business Search (DSBS) (Summer 2017).

If you are considering any of the SBA programs, please contact your PTAC adviser to discuss.  If you are not a PTAC client and would like hands-on assistance with the SBA programs, click the “Application” button in the left menu and complete your PTAC client application!

This old saying is true – particularly in small business.  You need to understand the trends – whether it is government procurement, marketing to government agencies, or small business topics such as social media and branding.  The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) – our parent organization – has a training center which delivers dozens of different small business workshops almost every day of the week.  In addition to PTAC-specific topics, the SBDC Training Center can help you reach your potential!  Their affordable training classes give entrepreneurs and business owners the tools they need for success.  We encourage you to sign up for PTAC’s government procurement offerings – but do not overlook the great opportunities for business knowledge in the training center calendar!
